The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) was formally organized in 1972 to increase the voice of enlisted persons in the National Guard. As such, EANGUS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the principles of providing an adequate national defense and promoting the status, welfare, and professionalism of the men and women of the Army and Air National Guard by supporting legislation that provides adequate staffing, pay, benefits, entitlements, equipment, and installations for the National Guard.

The National Guard Relief Foundation exists to help National Guard members and families facing financial hardships as a result of natural disasters, personal hardships, and catastrophic losses. The Foundation offers current, former, or retired National Guard members of all ranks the opportunity to apply for a SARGE Grant or Interest-Free Loan. Based on a demonstrated and verified need, Grants can be approved for up to $500, and Interest-Free Loans are available in amounts from $500-$2000 with low monthly repayment terms. These programs are designed to meet the emergency financial needs of National Guard members and may be used for financial hardships related to events such as mobilization, natural disasters, fires, and other catastrophic losses. The grants are intended for essentials such as utility bills, rent or mortgage payments, and groceries.

The 2023 National Guard Relief Foundation Annual Report can be reviewed HERE. The annual report demonstrates our impact, provides details on the over $1.6M in support that was provided to National Guard families over the last year, and acknowledges our donors and other supporters.
